Manage Public Group Membership

The Public Group Summary Page has been Enhanced to make group membership management simpler and faster. Here’s a quick breakdown of the new features:

  • Easily Search Members: You can now search through all current and available members (users, roles, and even nested groups) from a single view. This eliminates the need to navigate back and forth between different pages.
  • Bulk Actions: One of the most significant improvements is the ability to add or remove up to 100 members simultaneously. Whether you’re adding a new team or restructuring a group, this bulk management feature will save you valuable time.
  • Group Management at Your Fingertips: From the summary page, you can edit or delete the selected public group without navigating elsewhere, streamlining the process.

Where it is

From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Public Groups, and then select Public Groups. Select a public group, and then click View Summary. Under All Public Group Members, add or remove members.

As you can see , “All Public Group Members” Option is not available before Winter 25 release.

Why This Matters:

Managing public groups is a crucial task for administrators, and these updates ensure it’s now faster and more intuitive than ever before. The new features not only help reduce time spent on group management but also enhance productivity, especially when dealing with large groups or complex hierarchies.

This update is a game-changer for organisations with dynamic teams that require frequent adjustments to group memberships. With the enhanced Public Group Summary Page, Salesforce admins can now focus on more strategic tasks rather than getting bogged down by repetitive group management duties.
