We’re thrilled to announce a significant enhancement in the Winter 25 release that will transform how you manage user permissions: the User Access Summary page. This feature is a total game changer, giving you the power to quickly see exactly how permissions are granted to any user in your organization.
What’s New? User Permissions
- Streamlined Visibility: No more endless clicks and searching through different profiles and permission sets. The User Access page provides a clear overview of all permissions associated with a specific user.
- Detailed Insights: You can now see assigned object, field, user, and custom permissions all in one place. This level of visibility means you can identify any permission overlaps or gaps in no time.
- Access Granted By: Want to know how a specific permission was granted? Simply click on the row-level action and select Access Granted By. It’s like having your own permission detective at your fingertips!
How to Access the User Access Summary Page:
To get started, just follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the user record in Setup.
- Click on View Summary to access the User Access Summary page.
- Explore the details of assigned permissions and understand how they were granted through “Access Granted By” Button.
