New Salesforce Certification Experience: to Book Your Certification Exam

If you are in the Salesforce ecosystem, you must watch this major announcement about SF certifications. From July 21, 2025, certification will be conducted by Trailhead Academy (powered by Pearson VUE), not Webassessor.

important dates

• ✅  July 21, 2025: New certification experience and registration launches in Trailhead Academy.
• ✅  June 30, 2025: Webassessor exam registrations will close. No new exam registrations will be permitted after this date.
• ✅  July 13, 2025: The last day to complete a Salesforce exam in Webassessor. No reschedules or completions will be permitted after this date.

Why is a new platform needed?

Today, Trailblazers access their Salesforce certification information across multiple platforms. Starting in July, finding the certification information they need in one central place is easier, including exam details, registering for an exam, and managing registration details.

Certification Experience Preview

It will show all registered exam on your Trailhead Academy profile.

You can browse the certification from the Exam catalog. Once you click on a certification exam that interests you, you’ll land on the exam page to learn more about the exam’s content, its pricing, languages offered, the role and level of the exam, and if there are any prerequisites.

When you’re ready to register, click the “Register Now” button on the exam page and choose if you want to take your exam online or at a testing center. From there, you’ll be taken to our testing partner, Pearson VUE, to complete your registration process, which will include scheduling and paying for your exam.
